The Research Institute of Technology SystemX dedicated to the future system digital engineering is a powerful innovation engine for addressing the scientific and technological challenges of transport and mobility, communications, digital safety and energy markets. Center for Complex Engineering Systems (CCES-MIT)


The Center for Complex Engineering Systems (CCES) was founded in 2011 and is based jointly at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. The objective of research at CCES is to improve our understanding of complex engineering systems and produce world-class research to help grapple with the increasingly complex and interlinked systems of distribution of wealth and resources upon which we rely to meet our daily needs and to optimize conditions for long-term growth. Work at CCES is highly interdisciplinary requiring collaboration among scientists and engineers who study nature, technology and social phenomena at multiple scales.
